Author Interview: Edward Jones A New Consciousness Born

Edward Jones, the author of ‘A New Consciousness Born – You are the Source‘ explains why my Thinking is Thinking ME, loving peanut butter, what a Woman really is, and how we can all tell the truth -key points from his book on subtitled You Are The Source.

Edward has developed a way to approach the action of  self-transformation by using truth as the springboard.  We each have the ability to be 100% responsible for ourselves thereby creating a new way of being. By observing our thought processes and making no thought invented changes, we move our self out of the known and into the unknown.   Edward suggests that we can Transform our life by our-self with no one ‘helping’.  By Transforming ourselves, we will be able to Transform or world.

Achieving Transformation Through Conscious Evolution

Edward Jones reminds us of the fact that while we have walked on the moon, within our own consciousness there has not been a single step. In the psychological realm, we have not evolved one iota. We are as violent now as we have ever been, and added to that we now have the means to kill ourselves off in a very short time.

While increasing our brain’s marvelous capability of invention, we have neglected the fact that in our increasing violence and demand for materialistic things we are destroying everything around us. This is the consciousness that now rules our planet.

Is it possible for what we call the human psyche to evolve into a consciousness that has no violence included in it?

This is part of the  powerful message behind his new book; ‘A New Consciousness is Born: You are The Source’. You can find out more about Edward, the events which led up to the writing of his new book, and more about the book itself by watching my author interview.

    Excellent Michelle!
Really love using our truth as our foundation and springboard.
We have so much wisdom within us and when we tap into that spirit inside that houses it we truly can do anything.

Susan it isn’t always so easy to tell the truth.. Watch how often you tell a little lie, stretch the truth, say something untrue…for me it starts with my daughter- saying I ‘can’t do something with her, ‘ when I just don’t want to, and builds from there!

Am impressed by your interview skills and your ability to extract straight talk and clear thinking even under difficult circumstances. I hear the interviewee make an attempt to explain the difficulty to get the message across with linguistics, but when the message consists of saying there has not been a single step of progress (in our consciousness and/or psychology), my hunch is even the most gifted linguist might struggle. Whether there has or hasn’t been progress in humanity’s psyche, I don’t pretend to know, it just seems the ‘zero progress’ option is a hard and unhappy one to defend in any language.

Beat, I appreciate you watching the video.. Edward has a very specific way of being in the world, and when he explains it, I have to think, and then try to explain it back for the audience, or ask another question, and of course thinking is besides the point! going in CIRCLES of consciousness evolution for me!

For sure it would be hard to defend, Beat, ( no progress) however it needs no defence, our progress is in the technical, not in the area of violence, the violence is the same. Michelles interview skills are for sure impressive and she seems to learn as she listens, which is rare.

    Dear Edward -

Glad to hear the end of the world will be the end of violence.

I like that scenario better than the doomsdayers who say it will end in violence.

“While increasing our brain’s marvelous capability of invention, we have neglected the fact that in our increasing violence and demand for materialistic things we are destroying everything around us. This is the consciousness that now rules our planet.”

    Very deep and introspective interview.

Corinne, I know you also watched the longer interview with Edward over on http://talkingpurpose.com/edward-jones-a-new-consciousness-is-born-you-are-the-source/ , and he has a lot to say about violence on that interview. He knows that when we stop being violent inside ourselves, then we can live in violence free world. Not as easy as one might think. Today it’s only 8:00 AM and I’ve beaten myself up for getting up late, not liking my hair, and wondering if I’ll work out today! WHEW! I want to start the day with joy and laughter! thanks for being here. I so much love seeing your face.

The conspiricy of ineffectiveness is a term I heard long ago and it was a perfect description of where we are as a species, David, it means we are breathing together to remain ineffecttive. It points to the fact that it has benn in effect for thousands of years and we no longer see it, given we are it. Does that clear it for you, or muddel more?

I have trouble understanding these concepts, and also the need to understand them. I enjoyed the interview as always Michelle, it’s more the subject matter that really doesn’t speak to me as something that I can control or have an influence on.

I need to think about all this. Over all he is positive. I really hope Edward is right, that violence and the life style of selfishness will end and will end the world as it is now but not destroy the earth.

    Hi Michelle,

Great interview. My question is, “Is there really any truth left in this world.” Every action that people seem to do is to see what they can get out of that action for themselves.
Drug companies make drugs, they just want to sell them, do they really care if they help us? It seems as thought doctors are after the money rather then caring for the patient. Do lawyers really care about someone problem and solving it or is it about making the money? There are many more examples, but I won’t get into all of them.

I have to agree with Edward when he says, ” we have not evolved one iota. We are as violent now as we have ever been, and added to that we now have the means to kill ourselves off in a very short time.”

The more we invent and have the more we want. Do people really stop to appreciate what they have on a daily bases? Someone buys a new house, pretty soon they want a bigger house is an example.

I do wonder many days what this world is really coming too! You have to do things for the right reason, which is caring not for personal gain.

For me I am happy in my little corner and if anyone wants to join my corner I shall welcome you.
Thanks for listening and what a wonderful day,
    Debbie

    Hi Michelle and Edward,

Brilliant interview. The brain is really the most powerful thing every created that’s part of our whole body! When we think, we actually are consciously or unconsciously controlling ourselves to act this way or don’t act this way, and furthermore, set our emotions overall.

It’s also like learning the Law of Attraction. When you think of getting rich, acting on it and then making things happen to be rich, you will be rich as your brain puts it to. That really is how it is powerful! Honestly, I haven’t memorized my consciousness yet but it’s really crucial to transform and exercise oneself to think smart, positively and absolutely think for the better then you’ll get to the results you want.

This is really an interesting topic that should be passed on! :)

Yes Tyrone, this conversation and more like it needs interest generated, for the mind that put us in this mess (our present now) cannot possibly get us out of it, we need a new consciousness, not the same old, same old. Thanks for your comment.

Edward, great job – The truth is HERE and NOW! Transformation of a new way of being is coming, I’m with you on this.

I like the LOVE that you speak of….BE LOVE! I also agree we are getting sloppy with our language.

I’m with Tyrone and his mention of the law of attraction. What we put out in the universe we will get back. Good Karma…..
