Fireplace mantel shelf – A mantelpiece is a platform designed to look like a cloak but installed as a single platform.  The shelves are designed for installation of own home, and often require only a few tools to assemble and install the platform. Locate the wall studs using a stud finder. Mark these places with a small pencil mark to install a fireplace mantel shelf. Place the nailed plate on the wall using a level. Screw the nailed plate directly into studs. If you have a masonry wall, use masonry anchors wall masonry nails or screws and nails to fix the liquid plate nailed.
