Shifters Evolutions Saga is a series of six books written by an Award Winning Author and Semi-finalist of the Laurel Hemingway contest ’97, Ami Blackwelder.
Ami’s writing style is a mixture of Sci-fi/Historical and Sci-fi/Paranormal with a tasteful twist of forbidden romance. These books are not chronological but circular in time. Begin with The Shifters of 2040 which is the book three (3) in a series of six (6) books and chose whether to read the past or the future.
Shifters Evolutions Saga
Ami Blackwelder spent her early years in California and moved to Florida where she spent her teenage life. Her creativity in writing started during her third grade. At a very young age, her vivid imagination inevitably impressed his Language Arts teacher by reading her stories aloud in front of the class.
During her college years at University of Central Florida (UCF) where she acquired her BA in English and teaching credentials, her fiction “From Joy We Come, Unto Joy We Return” (The Blair Witch Project University) won the Best Fiction Award in 1997. This was published in the campus literary magazine “Cypress Dome”, which can still be found in libraries across the USA.
In her twenties, she wrote several short stories and poetry. She also joined the military and ended in about a year with an honorable mutual discharge. She then traveled overseas to teach in Thailand, China, Korea Nepal and Tibet. In her thirties while still in Thailand, she began her spiritual re-assessment and was inspired to write three religious/spiritual books.
With her love on writing historical, paranormal and Sci-fi romance genres, she hopes to write four novels a year because she believe that her life’s purpose is to write stories of voices that can be heard and write stories that need to be told.
According to her, “If she dies plentiful supply of novels on her shelf that she had written, whether self-published or not, whether be on the best seller lists or not….she’ll die happy”.

Your books were well received this month and I wanted to thank you personally for your generous donation to our Haiti October Fundraiser. I have not broke the binder to preserve the newness of the books so I will have to buy them when I am done organizing the October 7 & 8 fundraiser.
My wife Reverend Susan and I have returned from Pompano Beach from our anual vacation and did not realized that you live in Florida. Would have like to meet you. Thanks again. Joseph Provost
PS My wife and I are the parents of Kaiti Salidas
